SALISBURY, Md. - The 31st Annual Salisbury Festival is already in full swing and we've got some tips on how to make this family affair, affordable.
If you and your little ones want to get on the carnival rides, the Salisbury Area Chamber Of Commerce has $5 coupons for Carnival Wristbands. So instead of spending $18, you're only spending $13. Also, an event called "It Takes A Village" will feature lots of family fun, all free of charge.
"When you bring your family to a festival like this it can be costly, with food, and carnival rides and other expenses. So we wanted to incorporate as many free activities as we could, such as on the courthouse lawn on Saturday April 27th the Wicomico partnership for families is going to have free activities, games, craft activities for your children to enjoy," said Shannon Mitchell, Events Director.
That event is going on from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
