UMES Purchase Farm Land For Campus Expansion

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Construction is on the way for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

The Princess Anne University recently acquired a 365-acre farm to be used as an agricultural research facility.

The land was acquired with a $1.55 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The farm will be used for crop and livestock research.
