UPDATE: Woman Dies After Two Vehicle Crash On Wednesday

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Police say a Bishopville woman has died from injuries sustained in a crash on Wednesday.

Salisbury Police say they responded to E. Main Street at Davis Street, where they say a 2006 Mercury sedan hit a 1998 Ford SUV. According to the report, the driver of the SUV, 71-year-old Evelyn Adams, was ejected from the Ford, upon impact.

Adams was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where she succumbed to her injuries on Thursday. The other driver, a 79-year-old Salisbury woman, was not injured in the crash.

Police say that no charges have been filed at this time, but could come depending on the outcome of the on-going investigation. Alcohol was reportedly not a factor in the crash.
