PARSONSBURG, Md. - Rosalie Marie Seagraves, 74, of Parsonsburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at her residence. Born in Buena Vista, VA, she was the daughter of the late John McClung Painter and Margaret Painter. She worked for 15 years as a dietary aid for John B. Parsons Home in Salisbury.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Joseph A. Seagraves, Sr; 4 children, Vicky L. Seagraves of Laurel, DE, Joseph A. Seagraves, Jr. of Salisbury, Susan M. Blades and Michael E. Seagraves, both of Parsonsburg; 5 grandchildren, Matthew E. Blades, Mark A. Blades, Lucy E. Seagraves, Addy J. Seagraves and Brittany N. Adkins; a brother, Norman Painter and his wife, Frances and Mildred L. Painter, all of Winston Salem, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, June P. Hutchins and Marjorie P. Manus.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron. Rev. Mark Massey will officiate.
