Bobcat Fire In Mardela Springs Is Under Investigation

MARDELA SPRINGS, Md. - Arson has apparently not been ruled out, in an equipment fire in Mardela Springs.

Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says the fire broke out around 6:15 AM on Thursday morning, in a Bobcat on Main Street Extended. Damages to the machine are estimated at $5,000. The cause and origin of the blaze, are still under investigation at this time.

Officials say a passerby discovered the fire. It reportedly took 5 firefighters from Mardela Springs's Department 20 minutes to control. Officials say they have not ruled out arson.
