WICOMICO CO., Md. - Police have arrested a Salisbury couple, after they allegedly pretended to have a home improvement business. The Wicomico Bureau of Investigations is investigating 41-year-old David Suire, who reportedly has been doing home improvements throughout the county, without a Maryland Home Improvement Commission license.

Officials say Suire targeted the elderly, over charging them, and not actually finishing the work. According to the report, in several instances Suire stole jewelry and checks from the homes, which he then forged and cashed at local banks.

He has since been arrested in connection with these thefts, and is currently behind bars. His girlfriend, Stacey Scott was also charged in connection with these thefts.

Since these arrests, the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office has been contacted by 6 others who hired Suire to do work on their homes, and are hoping to speak to more. If you hired Suire, officials are asking you to contact them at the Wicomico Bureau of Investigations at 410-548-4898.
