Bikers Ride For Special Olympics Delaware

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) - Hundreds of motorcyclists hit the road for Special Olympics Delaware during the annual "Ride to the Tide" event.
 
The organization says a total of 572 bikers with 183 passengers rode from Newark and Dover to Rehoboth Beach on Sunday to raise more than $27,000.
 
The event, now in its seventh year, has now raised more than $108,000 for the group, benefiting 3,500 Special Olympics athletes who participate year-round in 20 sports.
