VA State Police: 2 Killed In Va. Small Plane Crash

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) - Virginia State Police say a small plane crashed in the Williamsburg area.
James City County District Fire Chief Bob Ryalls tells media outlets that two people were killed in Friday's crash. He said a family pet was killed too.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen described the plane as a Cessna 210 that went down about a half-mile from the airport in an open field.
The plane's origination and destination, along with the victims' names, weren't immediately released.
Ryalls said the Cessna crashed in a subdivision near the Williamsburg-Jamestown Airport.
