Barbeque Competition Back At Pork In The Park Festival

SALISBURY, Md. - The smell of barbeque and brisket is now filling the airs of Winterplace Park.

All weekend long you can enjoy some great barbecue, live music, rides, games and so much more at the 10th Annual Pork In The Park festival. On top of The Marshall Tucker Band playing live on Saturday night, a new feature is coming to the event on Sunday: a Wing War.

Organizers say this weekends events define what the eastern shore is all about.

"It's about family and friends and having a good time," said Bryan Watson, Wicomico Co. Tourism assistant manager. "It's about good food, good people live music. This is a typical environment you get when you come to the shore."

Tickets are just $5each day for adults and free for kids under 12. To find out more information on events, click here.
