SALISBURY, Md. - Rev. Wesley Riggs Fader, 83, of Salisbury went peacefully to his eternal reward on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at The Village at Harbor Pointe. Born in Shrewsbury, MA, he was the son of the late Weldon S. Fader and Ethel Bell Maynard Fader.  He served proudly in the US Army for 35 years, reaching the rank of Colonel. He attended Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA and was an Elder and Retired Evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene. He and his late wife, Mary, traveled throughout the US and Canada ministering through preaching and music. He loved to serve people and was a supply pastor for several churches as well as the chaplain at The Village at Harbor Pointe for many years. Wes was a gentle and loving man, an amazing husband, father and grandfather, who made friends with everyone he met. His life was a true example of God's love.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah Joy Fader Jackson and her husband, Gerald of Woodbridge, VA and Sherrill Gay Fader Williams and her husband, John of Hebron, MD; 8 grandchildren, Mark Thomas Jackson and his wife, Sara of West Melbourne, FL, Timothy Wesley Jackson of Woodbridge, VA, Mary Alicia Jackson of Golden, CO, Dustin Michael Campbell of Littleton, CO, Shawn Wesley Campbell and his wife, Emily of Parker, CO, Michael Robert Campbell and his wife, Alicia of Hebron, Emily Suzanne Williams of New Orleans, LA and Brian Kendall Williams and his wife, Jacqueline of Salisbury; 8 great grandchildren, Zoe Renee Jackson, Kaysa Loring Jackson, Miles Tenzing Jackson, Chance Christian Campbell, Helen Grace Campbell, Saul Joseph Campbell, Abigail Faith Campbell and Isabella Grace Campbell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Esther Monnett Fader in 2010; 2 brothers, Robert and Stanley Fader; and 2 sisters, Ruth Fader Wood and Edith Fader Senior

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 11:00 am at Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene, 27765 Nanticoke Road, Salisbury, MD 21801. There will be a visitation on Tuesday evening at the Holloway Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Rev. Ronald G. Parker, Rev. Terry Sowden and Rev. Kenneth Stanford will officiate. Internment will follow in the chapel at the Eastern Shore Maryland Veterans Cemetery, near Hurlock, MD on Wednesday at 2:00pm.
