Police Investigating Reports Of Shots Fired In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - Police are now investigating reports of shots fired in the area of 1st and Hill Street near downtown Salisbury.

Preliminary investigation shows that tonight's confrontation in Salisbury started as an argument between 2 individuals, which escalated into a physical altercation. A gun was reportedly discharged by a third individual, but no one was hit. Police are now searching for that person who fired the gun.

One of the individuals in the fight was transported to the hospital with a broken tooth and possible injury to his head. Police say at least 20 people were at the scene, but only 2 were involved in the fight.
