GEORGETOWN, Del. - Four teenagers accused of kidnapping an elderly Lincoln woman, are being charged as adults. Attorney General Beau Biden's Office announced on Tuesday that they have indictments against four of the teens, in connection with the March 18th carjacking and kidnapping of 89-year-old Margaret Smith. After the teen's March 20th arrest, the case was assigned to family court, but the Attorney General's office is now proceeding against the teens, as adults. The indictment charges 17-year-old Rondaiges Harper and 17-year-old Phillip Brewer with one count each of 1st degree carjacking and 1st degree kidnapping and two counts of 2nd degree conspiracy. The indictment also charges 14-year-old Junia McDonald and 15-year-old Jackeline Perez with one count each of the same charges, along with additional charges of 1st degree robbery and one additional count each of conspiracy. McDonald and Perez are being held in custody on $56,000 bond, while Harper and Brewer are being held on $27,000 bond.
