SALISBURY, Md. - George Norman Taylor, 62, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at home. Born in Salisbury, MD he was the son of the late Ralph I. and Margie Wilkins Taylor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Pearl Onley Taylor on April 27, 2012.
Mr. Taylor was a brick layer working with Caine Masonry for over 10 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by 5 children: Annette Lynn Skeen and her husband, Bruce, Michael Dean Taylor and his wife, Jennifer all of Salisbury, Tina Marie Quigley and her husband, Jason of Annapolis, Hank C. Williams III and his wife, Michelle of Hebron and Rebecca Lynn Simms and her husband, Craig of Salisbury; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Taylor and his wife, Lillian, John Taylor and his wife, Pat and Alan Taylor and his wife, Kay and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Holloway Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Friday. The Rev. John M. Kalfayan will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hall Riverside Cemetery in Libertytown, MD.
