Mother And Son Arrested On Drug Charges In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury woman and her son, were arrested on drug and weapons offenses. Salisbury Police say they received a call about smoking marijuana inside of an apartment, at The Greens at Schumaker Pond.

Police arrived on scene along with the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force, where they searched the home. According to the report, once inside, officers found four handguns, one rifle, along with marijuana, cocaine, and oxycodone pills. Police say that some of the drugs were inside of fake containers with hidden compartments.

Two people were arrested at the home, 19-year-old Anthony Hardy Jr., and his 41-year-old mother, Angelia Murray.

Hardy is charged with possession of firearm by person under 21, possession of ammunition by a person under 21, possession of firearm drug trafficking crime, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of drugs with intent to distribute.

Murray was charged with possession of firearm drug trafficking crime, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of drugs with intent to distribute, and reckless endangerment.

Both were released to the custody of Central Booking.
