Wallops Officials Discuss Noose Investigation

Posted: Updated:

WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. -The Wallops employee who reportedly tied a rope into a noose as a joke is now denied access to NASA facilities, pending the results of an investigation.

On Thursday around 150 Wallops Flight Facility employees attended an hour-long meeting to discuss the matter. Officials say this all took place back in February, when an employee allegedly fashioned a piece of rope into a noose and gave it to a co-worker. The noose was left behind and found by a contractor with another company, who then reported it.
