Delaware State Police Investigate D.A.R.T Bus Crash Near Millsboro

MILLSBORO, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating a crash involving a D.A.R.T bus and another vehicle near Millsboro.

The incident occurred around 3PM on Wednesday.  According to police the bus, operated by 40-year-old Dover woman, was heading southbound on Sheep Pen Road.  The bus stopped at the intersection of Hardscrabble Road before pulling out in front of a car being operated by a 46-year-old Seaford woman.

The vehicle stuck the side of the bus, rotated counter-clockwise, and came to a stop at the intersection. The three occupants on the bus were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  One of the seven passengers inside the vehicle, a 7-year-old, was flown to A.I. DuPont with unknown injuries.

Charges are pending. The crash is still under investigation.
