Dupont Nature Center at Mispillion Harbor Wants Volunteers

SLAUGHTER BEACH, Del. - A local organization is looking for volunteers. The Dupont Nature Center at Mispillion Harbor Reserve will hosts its annual Volunteer Orientation day, Saturday April 6, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The center, a DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife facility offers interactive exhibits, school tours, and educational programs for free throughout the summer.

The duties of volunteers include: interacting with visitors, assist with tours and educational programs, attend outreach events to promote the center, assist with maintaining the center's live tanks and caring for their aquatic inhabitants, which include a variety of fish, crabs, turtles and other species native to the Delaware Bay.

The Dupont Nature Center at Mispillion Harbor Reserve is located on LightHouse Road, east of Milford.
