National Guard Battalion To Deploy To Afghanistan

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A battalion of the Delaware National Guard is getting ready for deployment to Afghanistan.
    
About 325 members of the 198th Expeditionary Signal Battalion will report to Fort Bliss in Texas for training and will head to Afghanistan after about four to six week.
    
The 198th provides command, control and supervision of units.
    
A departure ceremony will be conducted Saturday morning the stadium at Delaware State University in Dover.
