Voting Lines In Salisbury

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Voters came out in troves to let their voice be heard in Salisbury.

WMDT was at Harvest Baptist Church, one of the district two polling locations, where as of noon Tuesday over 450 people cast their ballots.

Officials also say that throughout the day, an average of one person was able to vote every minute.

If you haven't voted yet, chief judges offered some tips on how to minimize your wait time.

"If you've received your ballot in the mail to bring that, if you have your voter ID card, it just really helps when you're doing the check in," Isabelle White tells us.

The Board of Elections says you can contact them at 410-548-48-30 for any additional questions about the election process.
