UPDATE: Fruitland House Fire Causes $500,000 In Damages

FRUITLAND, Md. - A Saturday morning Fruitland house is still under investigation, two days later.

According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office the two alarm fire started around 4:15 AM, in the attached garage of the Doe Run Drive home. The blaze took 60 firefighters from seven departments, around two and a half hours to control.

No one was injured. The fire caused an estimated $500,000 in damages. Investigators are still determining the cause to the blaze.
