UPDATE: Officials Confirm Fire In Greenwood

GREENWOOD, Del. - The Delaware Fire Marshal has confirmed a house fire in Greenwood, Delaware.

The blaze was reported not long before 5 am in the 14000 block of Oak Road.  According to officials, when the Greenwood Fire Company arrived on the scene, flames were shooting from a house trailer.  Two occupants were rushed from another home in Lincoln, Delaware to Milford Memorial Hospital for injuries. 

A 29 year old male suffered 2nd degree burns and was transferred to the Crozer Burn Center in Upland, Pennsylvania in critical condition.  A 28 year female was admitted to Milford Memorial Hospital in fair condition, suffering from smoke inhalation.  

Heavy fire damage was estimated at $65,000.

State Fire investigators are currently investigating the fire's origin and cause.
