Public Hearings To Begin On Proposed DART Bus Service

DELAWARE - If you use the bus system in Delaware, Delaware Transit Corporation needs your input on a new proposal.

They're looking at some schedule changes and route realignment which could affect all three Delaware Counties.

Sussex County, Resort Transit and Route 305 Beach Connection will become effective the week of May 20, 2013. New Castle and Kent Counties will become effective June 16 and June 17, 2013, respectively. 

The first of three public workshops starts Thursday morning at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center at 11:30. 

The second workshop is on April 1 at the Carvel State Office Building in Wilmington at 1:30 PM. 

The third is at the DelDOT Administrative Building in Dover at 3 PM. 

The proposal is available for public review at most libraries, state service centers and at the reception desks of DART First State offices and the DelDOT administration building in Dover, as well as online at www.DartFirstState.com
