Police Reportedly Find More Than 100 Marijuana Plants During Search

OCEAN CITY, Md. - An Ocean City man was arrested in the beach town, after more than 100 marijuana plants were found in his home. An investigation into illegal distribution and manufacturing of controlled dangerous substance, lead Ocean City Police to search a Sunset Drive home on Tuesday.

At the home, they reportedly found 104 individual marijuana plants being grown. At the scene, Police arrested 39-year-old Christopher Scott Smith, and seized numerous pieces of equipment used in making and growing the plants.

Smith was charged with manufacturing of a controlled dangerous substance - marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Smith is currently being held, pending an appearance before a Court Commissioner.
