Information Sought On Three Dorchester County Arsons

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Officials in Dorchester County are looking for information about three apparent arsons that have reportedly been set recently. The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal says they are currently investigating three fires, that were all reportedly intentionally set, in vacant buildings in Cambridge.

According to the report, the first happened on March 20th at 617 High Street, damages from that blaze are estimated at $90,000. Two more occurred in two vacant one story homes on March 26th, one at 601 Cross Street, around 8:10 PM, and a second around 8:20 PM at 523 Cedar Street. Cross Street damages are estimated at $15,000 and Cedar at $20,000.

The Fire Marshal is asking anyone with information about these three arsons to contact them at the Lower Eastern Shore Regional Office of the State Fire Marshal at 410-713-3780 or the Arson Hotline at 1-800-492-7529.
