SALISBURY, Md. - As many anticipate the Supreme Court's decision, same-sex supporters here on Delmarva are sounding off.
WMDT sat down with a member of the LGBTQ Alliance at Salisbury University. She says they're closely watching this debate, over what they call a decision over equal rights. She made reference to interracial couples facing the same opposition, and how our nation overcame that.
"A lot of people are gay and it doesn't make them immoral or bad or anything they should be able to raise a family in the community and enhance the community in that way too, add some diversity and spread the love," said Louisa Lamb, member of LGBTQ Alliance.
The group says no matter the vote they will continue bringing awareness to this issue.
