BERLIN, Md. - Business still seems to be booming for a local gun shop, even in the midst of the recent push for gun control.
Store owner of Shooter's Supply in Berlin says gun and ammunition sales have skyrocketed since the election. He says ammunition has been difficult to attain. They're still selling assault weapons, but if they're banned, he says they'll have to look into purchasing other merchandise to make up for the loss in inventory.
"We're going to have to try something whether it's going to crossbows or archery products, or expanding our hunting lines. We'll have to do something to stay viable in this market," said Bob Arthur, owner of Shooter's Supply.
Arthur says he is hoping this bill doesn't go through, for the sake of his business. Sources say the House should have a decision on the gun control bill by this Friday.
