Laurel DE Church Hosts Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Posted: Updated:

Laurel, Del. - A week early and the Eastern Shore is already starting to wear their Sunday's best.

Throughout Delaware and Maryland, families went on the hunt for Easter Eggs. In Laurel, the Bayview Baptist Church hosted it's "2nd Annual Free Community" event that showcased a moon bounce, pony ride and, of course, the traditional Easter Egg hunt.

"We have a great reception from the community and a lot of people in the community last year said they just were very pleased with what we were doing here," said Pastor CK White. "We wanted to do it again to help people here."

Pastor White says kids who opened up the eggs that had candy and a note also received some money from the Church.

Easter is next Sunday, March 31st.
