PARSONSBURG, Md. - Aline Virginia Morris Workman born May 8, 1931, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Lilly Mae Morris of Salisbury. On June 20, 1947 she married Charles Lee Workman of Parsonsburg with whom she spent her life. Together they had five children. Butch (Brenda) Workman of Seaford, Vic (Susan) Workman of Salisbury, Nick Workman of Bivalve, Mike Workman {deceased} and Susan (Steve) White of Delmar. Aline was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed for her zest for life, her wit and loving nature to all who knew her. She always welcomed everyone into her home; kids loved hearing her sing "She'll be comin' around the mountain." As a young child she enjoyed riding horses, later through her life playing Bingo with her sisters and spending summer camping at the beach. She loved her flowers, especially lilacs, pink roses, daffodils and red cannas. "Punkin" her cat will miss riding on her cart every day.

She was the proud grandmother of Christy (Buddy) Lohrfink, Wade (Lia) Workman, Brad (Katrina) Workman, Mary Elizabeth Workman, Emily Workman (Jay), Sarah (Jason) Bradley, Jessica Erving, Lauren (Chad) Littleton. She was a great grandmother to Megan, Jeremy, Chandler, Alexis, Connor, Owen, Colten, Sean, Chase, Mikey, Shane and Jacob King Workman. Aline was the loving sister to Thelma (Winfred) Lewis of Willards and Toby (Janice) Morris of Parsonsburg. A "special son and daughter": Randy & Juanita Cathell of Laurel. Aline was preceded in death by one son, Michael Alan Workman and two sisters, Helen Nielsen and Louise Hearn.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial of her life to be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Bethel United Methodist Church in Walston Switch. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Gray. A private interment will be held for the family. Donations may be made in memory of Aline Workman to Bethel United Methodist Church and/or Cemetery Fund, 31810 Old Ocean City Rd., Parsonsburg, MD 21849.
