WORCESTER COUNTY, Md. - The Worcester County Sheriff's school safety proposal is moving forward, but not as the original pitch.
On Monday, we told you about you their plans to add 13 new deputies, for each public school in the county, which would cost about $1.7 million. The County Commissioners said they would consider 13 part-time deputies, which cuts that number in half. Police say they're looking into this option, and should have more information by May.
