SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man has been arrested on burglary charges. Salisbury Police say on Monday morning, around 10:00 AM, they responded to a home on Jackson Street for a reported burglary in progress.

An investigation showed that the suspect had broken into the home, and was still inside. The suspect apparently fled on foot, but police caught up with 20-year-old Willie Hope Jr., a few blocks away, and arrested him.

Hope is charged with 1st and 3rd degree burglary, and malicious destruction of property. He was released to the custody of Central Booking.
