Accomack To Pray For An End To Arsons

Posted: Updated:

ACCOMACK CO., Va. - With the arson count officially at 70, some Accomack County residents are apparently seeking help from a higher power.

A group of churches are holding a prayer vigil tomorrow evening at Nandua High School in Onley, Virginia.

One of the organizers, Pastor Steven Jones from Shore Presbyterian Church says they're not only praying for an end to the arsons, but for those committing the crimes, as well.

The vigil is open to anyone interested in attending and will be held from 7-8 PM, Tuesday, March 18th at the Nandua High School auditorium.
