HARTLY, DE. (AP) - A Hartly woman has been charged with driving under the influence after a single car crash.
The crash happened Sunday at about 1:10 a.m. State police spokesman Gary Fournier says 32-year-old Monica Tegano was driving eastbound on Halltown Road just east of Brittney Lane in Hartly when she traveled off the south side of the road and hit a mailbox and an electrical pole. Fournier says Tegano's car, a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue, overturned multiple times before coming to a stop in a wooded area.
Tegano was taken to a hospital. Fournier says she was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol, inattentive driving, failure to remain in a single lane and no proof of insurance.
