Bridgeville Man Arrested For Tampering With Traffic Lights

MILFORD, MD. - The Milford Police Department say they've arrested a man on Saturday after he allegedly tampered with a light control box in Milford.

On Tuesday, on March 12th, Police say 49 year-old Stephen Chike of Bridgeville allegedly switched the traffic lights to manual causing the lights at the intersection of Rt. 113 and Rt. 14 in Milford to reportedly stay green north and south bound and not to change for east and west bound traffic.

Authorities say Chike was charged with 2 counts of Reckless endangering 2nd, disorderly conduct, and interfering with an official traffic control device. 

Chike is being held on a $1,300 unsecured bond.
