Big Brothers Big Sisters Host Bowling Event In Ocean City - WMDT 47 News - Delmarva's Choice

OCEAN CITY, Md - The Big Brothers Big Sisters hosted their "Bowl for Kids' Sake" event at Ocean Pines today.

It is the organization's biggest fund raiser. The money raised will support professional programming services to undeserved children, often living in a single-parent household, growing up in poverty, or coping with parental incarceration.

Bowl for Kids' Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters most important strategic initiatives and enables us to positively influence the lives of hundreds of children throughout the Eastern Shore.

"Oh goodness well we definitely appreciate the support from the community we've had group like the optimist club participate for 10 years at this event so it really means a lot to big brother and big sisters and all of the families and children in our program that we have supporters come out to support us during programs like this," says Eastern Shore Director Jessica Mims.
