After spending $13,000 on a forensic audit of their financial records, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America’s Northwestern Minnesota Synod had its bookkeeper arrested, according to a report by WDAY 6, a local ABC affiliate. The 61 year old bookkeeper, Robert Larson, has been charged with felony theft and check forgery.
