Salisbury Police Department Donates Vehicle To High School

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md - The Salisbury Police Department has donated one of their decommissioned vehicles to Parkside High School.

Students in the criminal justice component of the Career Technology Education division of the school will have access to the use of the vehicle to give them a better understanding of law enforcement. The 2006 Ford Crown Victoria will allow students to participate in scenario based training at the school.

"Big reason is as they are making decisions about what they are going to do in life, we would like them to have that exposure to law enforcement. Of course, we need the best and brightest in our field and certainly Parkside is producing those individuals for us" says Barbara Duncan, Chief of the Salisbury Police Department.
