SEAFORD, Del. - A Lincoln man accused of raping a teenage girl, over four years, has turned himself in to authorities.

Delaware State Police say that 47-year-old Wayne Thompson Jr. turned himself in on Friday afternoon, after Police began an investigation on Thursday. That investigation reportedly showed that Thompson had raped a 16-year-old girl over a four year period, starting in January 2009, while she was living with relatives, near Seaford.

Thompson is being held at SCI on $98,000 bond, after being charged with 48 counts of 2nd degree rape, and continuous sexual abuse of a child.
