DART First State Holds Transit Poster Contest

WILMINGTON, Del. - Local children have the opportunity to participate in a statewide contest, that could have their art shown in advertisements.

DART First State is holding its 13th Annual Transit Poster Contest for kids in grades 6 through 12. The winner will have his or her artwork featured in advertisements, promotions or displays.

The contest is designed to encourage students to learn more about public transportation. Interested schools are asked to gather submissions and forward them to Dart First State Judging. Individuals are also allowed to enter as long as they are the appropriate grade level.

All posters must be submitted by April 19, 2013, to the DART First State Poster Contest Marketing Dept., at 119 Lower Beech Street, Wilmington, DE 19805.
