Salisbury Man Convicted Of Rape, Among Other Charges

SALISBURY, MD - On Tuesday, The Office of the State's Attorney For Wicomico County says Montire Brown, age 35, of Salisbury was convicted of Rape in the First Degree, two counts of Rape in the Second Degree, and two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor by a Wicomico County jury.

Authorities tell WMDT the charges against Brown date back to offenses that he committed in 2007 in Salisbury. Brown reportedly faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Officials say sentencing is expected to occur in sixty to ninety days.
