SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man is convicted on multiple sex charges.
35-year-old Montire Brown was convicted of Rape in
the First Degree, two counts of Rape in the Second Degree, and two counts of
Sexual Abuse of a Minor by a jury on Tuesday. The charges against Brown date back to offenses
that he committed in 2007. He faces a maximum sentence of life in
prison without the possibility of parole.
In a press release, Wicomico County State's Attorney Matthew A. Maciarello commended the Wicomico County Child Advocacy Center, the Department of Social Services, the Life Crisis Center and Detective Mark Merritt of the Salisbury Police Department for their work in the investigation and prosecution of this case.
