Special Olympics Delaware Gears Up For Basketball Skills Camp

KENT CO., Del. - More than 1,500 Special Olympics athletes in Delaware are gearing up for a Basketball Skill Competition in Kent County.  Athletes either participate individually or team up with peers without disabilities to compete in a number of events.

The eight part competition starts on March 13th and runs for 15 days.

All events being with an Opening Ceremony at 10:15 a.m.

Capital School District: Wednesday, March 13, Dover High School

Brandywine School District: Thursday, March 14, McKean High School

Red Clay School District: Thursday, March 14, McKean High School

Colonial School District: Friday, March 15, William Penn High School

Milford School District: Tuesday, March 19, Milford High School

Sussex County School Districts: Wednesday, March 20, Sussex Tech High School

Caesar Rodney School District: Thursday, March 21, Caesar Rodney High School

Appoquinimink School District: Friday, March 22, Middletown High School

Smyrna School District: Friday, March 22, Middletown High School

Christina School District: Wednesday, March 27, Christiana High School
