Del. Legislation To Create New Gifted And Talented Programs

WILMINGTON, Del. - Delaware Schools could see more money to develop new gifted and talented programs.

Leaders proposed a bill, which would create two-year start-up grants. If approved, these grants would be available for gifted programs kindergarten-12th grade.

Schools would qualify for the grant money either by integrating with existing school programs and if they encourage students from diverse backgrounds to participate.
