Arrested: Roger Schoolfield
CRISFIELD, Md. - The bail of a man accused of robbing a Crisfield bank over the weekend, has been raised.
Crisfield Police say on Saturday, 20-year-old Roger Schoolfield, of Crisfield, threw a brick through the front doors of the BB & T Bank on N. Somerset Avenue. He then reportedly jumped the counter, and took more than $12,000 in cash.
Police caught up with him later at his home in Somers Cove Apartments, where they say they found Schoolfield, the money, and the clothes he wore during the robbery. He was charged with armed robbery, robbery, 1st and 2nd degree assault, theft over $10,000, 2nd degree burglary, and malicious destruction of property over $500.
Schoolfield's bail was originally set at $200,000, but after seeing a Judge on Monday morning, it was upped to no bail status.
