Alex Guerrero Returns To Wicomico Youth And Civic Center

SALISBURY, Md. -- You can go see Delmar's own Alex Guerrero go head to head with some of the East Coast's best in boxing. Tickets go on sale Monday for "Salisbury Slugfest" at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center.

This will be Guerrero's fifth fight in his hometown, but this will be the fighters first main event.

"They are going to see Alex Guerrero perform at a high level. They're going to see that Alex really does have the goods to go far in this sport. I've said for years and I believe it, and now he believes it, and we're going to put on a show," director of Main St. Gym, Hal Chernoff tells us.

He goes on to say without local sponsors this show would not be possible. Those include, Pohanka, Robinson's Family Businesses, Rice's Pest Control, and Delmar Auto Outlet.

Tickets range from $20 to $90. Tables of 10 are also available for $500 each.
