CRISFIELD, Md. - Police have arrested a suspect who reportedly robbed a BB&T bank in Crisfield Saturday, and made off with more than $12,000.
Roger Schoolfield was taken in to custody after police say he broke into the bank after it was closed by throwing a brick through the doors.
He reportedly hopped the counter and shoved an employee out of the way of the bank's alarm system.
Schoolfield was identified through bank security, and arrested at Somers Cove apartments, where officials say they found the money in a duffle bag, along with the clothes he allegedly wore during the robbery.
He faces a number of charges including first and second degree assault and burglary.
