SALISBURY, Md. - One group took to the plaza to not only show off their Zumba moves, but also motivate teenage girls.
The Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake hosted a "Sister Power" Day. Speakers took the stage to help the young girls feel better about themselves. Then, girls let loose and showed off their dance moves.
"Just encouraging them to have good self-esteem, good hygiene and just overall feel good about themselves," said Jessica Mimms, Big Brothers, Big Sisters Director. "They just need the extra motivation and push to feel good about themselves."
