SALISBURY, Md. - It's the last day of the WMDT 47/Cat Country Cares for Saint Jude Kids Radiothon, the event that helps raise money for to find a cure for pediatric cancer.
WMDT's Kody Leibowitz and Cat Country's EJ Foxx were hoisted in a bucket as EJ asked her listeners to rescue her in hopes of raising money. EJ made her goal and talked to us about the experience!
"It has been such an emotional roller coaster ride and it's such a labor of love," said Foxx, host of "Mid-Days with EJ. "It's been 15 years since we've been doing this and over the years the progress has been made for the research has been phenomenal. It's gone from four percent success rate to 94 percent success rate. We like to wipe it out completely we can't do it without donations from our wonderful listeners."
