Juvenile Charged With Trailer Arson In Lewes

LEWES, Del. - A juvenile has been arrested in connection with a camper fire. The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office responded to a fire on Thursday afternoon, around 4:25 PM, at a camper trailer on Pine Tree Road, in Tall Pines, in Lewes.

When crews with Lewes, Milton, and Rehoboth Beach Fire Departments arrived on scene, there was reportedly heavy fire in one camper, with extension to another one. Damages to have been estimated at $15,000.

Investigators with the Fire Marshal's determined that the blaze was intentionally set. A juvenile has been arrested, and charged with 2nd degree arson, and criminal trespass. He was later released to the custody of his parents, pending a hearing in Family Court.
