VSP Confirm Friday Morning Fire In Accomack Co.

TEMPERANCEVILLE, Va. – Virginia State Police confirm Friday morning's report of a fire in Accomack County.

Police say around 1:30 Friday morning, officials were called to a fire located at the 28500 block of Saxis Road where they found a two story abandoned residential building up in flames. The structure was reportedly burned completely to the ground.

No injuries have been reported.

Police say the fire is under investigation, though the cause initially appears to be arson.

Virginia State Police are urging anyone with information that can help with the investigation to come forward. Police say there continues to be a $25,000.00 reward offered to any information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
