WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A former substitute teacher and youth group leader has been sentenced to five years in prison for transportation of child pornography.
Forty-one-year-old David Osborn of New Castle also was ordered to register as a sex offender at sentencing Thursday.
Prosecutors say an Internet service provider notified law enforcers that a user had transmitted child pornography through email.
Federal agents identified Osborn and executed a search warrant on his home. Officials say more than 700 images of child pornography were found on Osborn's computer equipment.
Officials say Osborn worked as a substitute teacher and bus driver in Delaware schools. Authorities say he also was a member of Masons Lodge Number 26, in Newport, where he held various positions supervising youth groups.
